Recent projects done for NHS trusts
Our recent focus has been on working with main NHS hospitals where each project has absorbed our time and resources. The need for maintenance and refurbishment within the NHS is substantial, and we are privileged to be a regular contributor. We feel that the longstanding relationship is attributable to the quality of the work we provide and at a cost which the NHS can afford.
The work is often specialised and we perform "full-build" services. The full-build gives hospital units a full functionality and conforms to standards which safeguard the patients and medical staff. The work is often undertaken in "live wards" where the sensibilities of the patients and staff must be taken into account. The needs of medical care do create a set of building projects which are similar in their objectives. But each one requires the full concentration of resources to ensure it is done to the highest standard. The budgets of Health Trusts are very tight and they do not have money to waste We also manage a number of projects at the same time, as we have regular maintenance contracts for smaller health units. Our resources were extended significantly in carrying out many maintenance jobs through the COVID period. Our biggest client is London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust , which we identify as LNWH. The main hospitals within this Trust are Northwick Park and Ealing. |

LNWH - Smaller ProjectsLNWH - Door Replacement Works
In January 2023 we undertook a project to replace existing door sets, installing specialist doors within live mental health wards. As you would expect the doors are not simple but are security doors which operate using key pad access. LNWH - 5 Year Paint Programme In July 2017 we began a 5 year rolling programme to carry out the painting and decoration work within all the live mental health wards. This is now complete. |
